Every pet parent loves their dog, but is your dog cute and clever enough to win the Pawfect Pet Show dog beauty pageant? If you think the answer is yes, enter the contest for a chance to win cash prizes, dog food, supplies, and more!

The pageant was established in 2021 and is open to dog owners in the United States only. Rabbitgoo, Joyo, and Catromance sponsor the contest.

The online-only pageant allows pet parents to share photos and videos of their dogs for a chance to win prizes.

How it works

Contents

The Pawfect Pet Show will be divided into three rounds, each with a different theme. Qualified contestants will have time to take new pictures and create new videos for each round if they desire. They also can use the same photos and videos for all rounds.

Dog owners 18 and older can register for free. There are no restrictions for the dog’s age, gender, or breed.

Registration for the first round runs from July 1 to July 25. Contestants can submit an entry form and upload at least one photo and one video of their dog. Photos need to be in JPG format and between 2MB and 5MB in size. Videos can be in either MP4 or MOV format and run for less than one minute. The file size can be no larger than 200MB. Contestants must submit photos and videos taken within one year of the start of the event.

Take care of your dog

The Pawfect Pet Show organizers want to encourage pet parents to be responsible and not compromise the health and safety of their dogs. To that end, they recommend pet parents:

  • Don’t compromise their dog’s comfort.
  • Don’t force them to wear clothes if the dog resists.
  • Remember to undress dogs immediately after taking photos or videos to keep the dog comfortable.
  • Don’t walk dogs while wearing elaborate or extravagant costumes.
  • Choose clothing materials that are light, soft, and cool to wear.
  • Avoid overfeeding dogs during photo or video sessions.
  • Be patient with your dog if you’re teaching it a new trick. Learning tricks requires time and patience. Keep it fun for your dog.
  • Any act of abuse, neglect, or cruelty toward your dog will not be allowed.

Get your dog ready to shine

If you don’t already have photos or videos ready to submit for the Pawfect Pet Show, now’s the perfect time to take some.

Be sure to take images from multiple angles so you can find your dog’s best features. Try different camera angles like shooting your dog from above or getting on the floor so you’re at the dog’s level.

Have fun and get ready to compete. Be sure to enter the contest between July 1 and July 25.

Good luck, and may the best dog win!
