Your guide to pet hair vacuum cleaners

What? We now have vacuum cleaners for pet hair?

The world has everything these days. Just a while ago, I was talking about how great it would be not to have to get a separate spoon to stir my coffee. It turns out; people have already invented self-stirring mugs eons ago. Well, just several years ago really. I’m just melodramatic. The point is, the world has become so advanced – and lazy – that we now have many and sometimes unnecessary devices and apparatuses (there’s even a debate about this). We have things like garlic peelers, fruit covers, and even corn cob slicers! Many tasks, even the simplest ones, which were used to be done by hand, are now made easier and more convenient with innovative tools. But seriously, some of them are so darn simplistic and lazy that it’s hilarious!

One great invention that I appreciate, however, is the pet hair vacuum. And if you stick around, I’ll tell you all my reasons why.

What is a pet hair vacuum cleaner?

Vacuum cleaners are nothing new. We’ve been using them for as long as I can remember. It has probably been around for decades – and they have all the right to be. Vacuum cleaners have helped families, mothers especially, make their house feel like home. It has helped eradicate – or at least manage – many complications that arise from a dusty and dirty environment. All the pollen during spring that causes hay fever and allergies in both children and adults is a primary example of a problem addressed by the vacuum cleaner.

Now, here come pet hair vacuum cleaners.

Pet hair vacuums are modified vacuum cleaners that specifically address pet hair problems. If you’re a pet owner, be it a cat or a dog (or a hamster and whatever else), you’ll know what I’m talking about.

Most pet hair vacuum cleaners are handheld and portable. You wouldn’t have a hard time transporting them or keeping them in storage.

Pet hair can be a real problem. It’s one of the few demerits that come with pet care. Of course, we, pet lovers put up with it. Our little furry friends are too adorable to ignore, after all. But that doesn’t change the fact that it is a problem. And if we could help it, we’d do everything necessary to control it. So when I heard about pet hair vacuum cleaners, I just jumped on the opportunity to get one for my lovely Roger (I know I named my dog like a person, but hey, it’s my dog).

Before I had a pet hair vacuum, my condo unit smelt and felt like dog fur. What can I say? Dogs are a rambunctious bunch but you can’t help but love them. So I was caught between keeping a clean place yet sending my dog to our family home or putting up with the whole fiasco. And yes, I chose the latter without batting an eyelash. I just loved my best friend that much.

Still, it was a problem how all his fur would keep falling out – in the bed, in the couch, in the kitchen countertops (I don’t even know how his hair gets there). So whenever I had visitors coming unannounced, I would immediately fall into a state of panic. I don’t mind Roger’s fur being all over the place. I got used to it by then. So used to it, in fact, that it would surprise me if I came home and there isn’t that much pet hair to greet me. But you see, not everyone shares the same sentiment. It would be safe to say that not everyone loves dogs – specifically the “smell of dogs” – either. It is in my instincts to try and be a good host to visitors, so it was a dilemma for me.

Conclusion

I like my dog, and I wanted him to stay. But I didn’t want my home to chase people away.

This is why I consider pet hair vacuums heaven-sent and why I made this totally rad Best Vacuum for Pet Hair Guide. They are the perfect solution to any pet hair problems. If you’re like me and if you’re having the same issues I did, I suggest that you browse online markets and have a pet hair vacuum delivered to your home soon. When you do, consider these benefits that pet hair vacuum cleaners provide:

  1. Say goodbye to pet-hair-ridden sofas, beds, floors, and countertops. No more sneezes and pet hair on your clothes. Isn’t that fantastic?
  2. Hassle-free cleaning. Most pet hair vacuum cleaners are handheld and portable. You wouldn’t have a hard time transporting them or keeping them in storage.
  3. Create a more inviting home. Never have to feel embarrassed or shy welcoming guests into your home again. With a portable vacuum cleaner, you can manage and regulate pet hair in your home daily – definitely a must-have!
