Goldendoodles are “designer dogs.” These are generally hybrids of purebred dogs that carry the unique traits of their different parents. They are from Poodles and Golden Retrievers. Poodles are active and cunningly intelligent animals. They do not also shed like many other dog breeds. Golden Retrievers are, on the other hand, friendlier and livelier. These rare breeds naturally acquire the traits of their parent breeds. The mix of these wonderful attributes, from the parent purebreds, is one of the things to love about Goldendoodles.

2. They are hypoallergenic

Goldendoodles are hypoallergenic dogs. Typically, most Goldendoodles don’t even shed as much as other dog breeds. This means that they’re less likely to cause allergic reactions which makes them great for those handling allergies. Note that being hypoallergenic doesn’t mean they’re completely allergic though, it only means that they are less likely to set off allergic reactions compared to other dog breeds.

3. They are easy to train

In comparison to other dog breeds, Goldendoodles are easier to train. The special breed comes from two of the smartest dog breeds (just as mentioned earlier). They’re also hyperactive and always eager to please which makes them really easy to control. Goldendoodles also learn and retain their training routines quickly and easily.

4. They are naturally active animals

These unique dog breeds are naturally active animals. They are so energetic and would make your life so lively if you stay alone. Goldendoodles are ever ready to play and fetch for you anytime you want.

5. They are socially interactive

Goldendoodles get most of their active and friendly attitudes from their parents. They are always so playful and would easily make new friends while restlessly running around to sniff or fetch toys thrown for them. The pets are also really lovable creatures, especially because of their appearance. This is why they seem to draw people’s attention, to themselves as well as to their owners.

6. They are usually the perfect size

Happy golden doodle puppy. Best pets with personality: Choose a pet with attitude. Options to consider include Goldendoodle, pit bull, Maine coon cat, or Norwegian Forest Cat.
Goldendoodles mostly come in golden colors but also can be grey, brown, red, cream, white, or even black.

Goldendoodles are usually between 30 to 50 pounds, which makes them the perfect option for different dog lovers. Standard Goldendoodles are typically bigger than miniature Goldendoodles that don’t usually exceed 35 pounds. If you prefer dogs with less weight and less fierce-looking structure, a Goldendoodle dog would be the best choice for you.

7.  They are pretty attractive

This dog is one of the prettiest dogs to be designed or crossbred. They’re usually pretty colorful and really, really attractive. Goldendoodles mostly come in golden colors. However, responsible breeders usually have Goldendoodle for sale in other pretty colors as well, like grey, brown, red, cream, white, and even black.

8. They have four fur types

Based on the unique attributes your Goldendoodle acquire from their parent purebreds, these adorable pets could come in four different fur types. Whether your own doggy’s coat is curly, wavy, straight, or smooth, it’d still remain extremely beautiful. This fur type diversity makes it a bit difficult to know how you can brush, bathe or sometimes dry them; so check with your vet to know the fur type your own Goldendoodle has.

9. They easily adjust

One thing to note, however, about Goldendoodles is the presence of the unique attributes of both parents usually seem to vary from dog to dog. However, one common feature that stands out about these pets is their ability to adjust easily.

10. Perfect service dogs

Goldendoodles are quite intelligent, which makes them the perfect service dogs for hospital patients and old folks in nursing homes. A golden doodle dog is one of the best options for those who need a dog, for guidance or therapy.

11. Best for new dog owners

For those who are just starting out on dog tending, these adorable dog breeds are usually the best to start. They are easy to train, control, and clean. They also have friendly and happy traits that make them easily lovable by all, even by those who seem to think they dislike dogs.
