Help your dog be more family-focused with CBD oil

If you’re dealing with a dog that has a lot of anxiety, CBD oil for dogs may help your dog become more comfortable with their new home and their new family.

If you’re planning on adopting a dog with your whole family, you’re going to want a dog that is friendly with everyone, not just one of you. Of course, sometimes dogs do pick favorites, but overall, it’s a good thing to have a dog that loves spending time with all of you.

However, if your dog has anxiety or starts to develop it at some point, you may find that they don’t enjoy being around the family anymore. Of course, this can be frustrating — everyone may want to interact with the dog, but if the dog doesn’t want to communicate with you, it’s not a good idea to force the situation. So how can you help your dog become more friendly to the entire family? CBD oil for dogs may be an option because CBD oil helps dogs relax.

How does CBD oil for dogs work?

There has been lots of discussion about CBD tincture lately, although most research has focused on how CBD oil can help humans. There is growing anecdotal evidence that CBD can be helpful for dogs in many of the same ways.

By choosing the best CBD oil for dogs, such as Charlotte’s Web Paws, your dog can take full advantage of the benefits of CBD. Giving your dog CBD tincture can help with calming anxiety, which can support a much healthier life. Also, CBD oil for dogs may be able to help with joint discomfort that your pet may be experiencing, especially as they move into old age.

After all, many dogs, especially those adopted from shelters, just had a bad experience with their old family. CBD oil helps dogs relax and a calmer dog will be more open to connecting with your family.

How do I give my dog CBD oil?

It doesn’t have to be difficult giving your dog their daily doses of CBD tincture. A bottle of Charlotte’s Web Paws hemp extract, a high-quality hemp oil for dogs, comes with an easy-to-use dropper. Just draw up the CBD tincture dosage, then either drop it directly into your dog’s mouth or drop it over their food. For best results, you should give it to your dog twice daily.

If your dog has severe anxiety, especially if that anxiety directly relates to people, it’s probably a better idea to introduce it in their food. You don’t want to make them more uncomfortable around you by having to hold their mouth and give it to them.

Are there any contraindications with CBD oil for dogs?

There isn’t a lot of clinical research on CBD oil for dogs, which means that it’s hard to tell exactly what is a contraindication and what isn’t. However, many pet vitamins and supplements have the same problem — dogs have different biology from humans, which means that the same rules that apply to humans just don’t when it comes to dogs.

Before starting any dog supplements, you should always talk to your dog’s veterinarian. They will know more about any reasons that you shouldn’t be giving your dog CBD tincture and will be able to advise you on the best way to provide it if you do end up having to do so.

The same way you shouldn’t give your dog human multivitamins, you shouldn’t give your dog CBD tincture made for humans. The best CBD for dogs should be explicitly created to be easily-digestible for dogs.

If you want to make sure that your dog gets the most out of the CBD oil that you give them, you need to make sure you’re getting it from a reliable source.
