If you want your outdoor living area to look nice, you need to consider grass lawns, because they will create an aesthetic view both for you and your entire family.

There is only one question — should you choose artificial grass lawn or natural grass lawn?

This article will introduce you to the differences between artificial and natural lawn to help you pick what your home needs the most.

Installation costs

The overall costs of installing synthetic turf depending on several factors, such as the area that you want to cover, materials, labor, and operation fees. The antimicrobial turf installation services are usually provided by companies specialized in design work and artificial lawn installation. You may think that installing artificial grass is costly, and that is true. However, you should realize that artificial grass requires very little maintenance throughout the life of the turf. This type of grass will pay for itself in a short period of time.

Unlike synthetic turf, natural grass requires you to only plant seeds and wait for them to grow. The installation costs are surely lower than that of synthetic grass. However, natural grass is going to require more maintenance over time. You will have to purchase the appropriate lawn equipment which will mow, trim, feed, and reseed the grass.

Care and maintenance

One of the important differences between natural and artificial grass lawns is the type of maintenance and the level of care.

As already mentioned, you are going to spend more on taking care of the natural grass, but apart from financial resources, it will require human efforts for the provision of the proper care. If you want your natural grass to look good, you need to constantly brush the blades of the grass by keeping them upright. The overall care for the natural grass also includes watering, fertilizing, and weed control. Sometimes you may even feel that you should hire professionals who would do all the work for you.

In contrast to natural grass, artificial grass requires a minimum amount of care, which is mostly watering and brushing. You won’t even have to worry about hiring someone who would do the work for you. It is simple as it is.

Aesthetics

Aesthetic visual is probably the most important aspect when deciding between real or artificial grass. People want to have a nice living area and some homeowners even think that the grass in their yard is the first impression to any guest entering their home.

If you want to have grass that looks perfect, you need to go with the artificial turf. It will always be the same height, color, and texture, no matter what kind of weather it is outside. But if you like to spend your time taking care of the grass, you definitely need to go with the natural one. Some people even like mowing the grass as a hobby.

Both artificial and natural grass are viable options for the residential area. Making the right decision depends on your preferences and financial resources.

When you own a dog…

Everyone wants to have a beautiful lawn around their home. But that will not always be the case if you own pets, since you will need to constantly clean after them.

As a dog owner, it is highly recommended to choose synthetic turf. Artificial grass for dogs is usually non-absorbent and is made from anti-microbial fibers. Pet-friendly grass is designed to have proper drainage features, which will make your lawn look beautiful and clean. Moreover, your furry friend will feel no difference between the natural and artificial grass during his playtime.
