Recess x Maxbone releases limited edition The Walk Collection

Lifestyle dog brand, Maxbone and hemp-extract infused, sparkling water brand, Recess, have partnered to bring you and your pup one creative collaboration: The Walk Collection.

The Walk Collection consists of four exclusive items: “Honey Daydream” CBD treats for dogs and wearable accessories for you—fun for everyone!

According to Healthline, limited research has found that giving CBD  to dogs helps treat pain symptoms and issues with mobility. It’s also been found, in general, to help ease anxieties and stress. Through infusing dog treats with CBD, the Recess brand hopes to create a carefree and “off the leash” feeling for your dog to enjoy. Since Maxbone aims to create products to make all dogs happy, this was a collaboration that just made sense.

Changing the pet industry’s image

Maxbone’s founder and CEO, Parisa Fowles-Pazdro, proudly aims to redefine how the world perceives the pet industry. Through modern design yet functional pet products and flavorful treats that are natural but delicious, the goal is to make both you and your pet friend content.

“Being raised in Sweden gave me an appreciation for simplicity and quality,” Fowles-Pazdro states in a Maxbone introduction video. “Which really runs through Maxbone’s entire ethos. Every product has a design sensibility that flows into functionality.”

What is Recess?

So who or what is Recess, you might be wondering? Recess is sparkling water infused with hemp and adaptogens for balance and clarity if you’re not already familiar with the brand. Youtuber Toni on Tap did a Recess review, where she bought the sampler pack and tried the various options. Toni first tries the pomegranate hibiscus, and before she even takes a taste, she commends Recess for its simple but effective packaging and design. Upon trying the product, she said it wasn’t what she expected. Expecting it to taste like La Croix, she points out that it did not, but felt more natural to her—with a nice refreshing flavor and light. She claims the taste got better and better as she kept drinking it. Having not been a regular consumer of sparkling water, she appeared to be pleasantly surprised by her initial introduction to Recess.
