Pets are like children to their humans. And just as parents buy treats for their children to make them happy, pet parents love to give their babies superfood snacks for dogs.

Most processed foods are not good for humans or animals — they contain ingredients such as sugar and gluten that can be unhealthy. Because they are smaller and metabolize their food faster, animals can feel those ill effects much more quickly.
