    To Kelly,
About your list of ways to stop biting.
First of all, the “shock method” is a very LAST resort to use. It should NOT EVER be used on a puppy. It can easily be overdone and ruin your dog. This should only be used if all else fails and only on a dog that’s more than 6 months old. There are other ways to stop puppy biting. One you didn’t even mention is if the puppy is biting, and it’s usually play biting, give it something it can bite and play with to replace biting you. This should be one of the 1st things done to stop biting. The command should be taught 1st, then give the replacement right then.
